R.W. Privacy Policy

Who we are: R.W. apps are private tools built and operated by R.W. for the developer and individually invited users. There is no public sign-up. Questions or requests may be addressed to dev@raiiwinters.net.

What we collect: Accounts are issued by the developer. The apps store your account identifier and the information you enter while using them. Depending on the tools enabled for you, that may include personal health or financial information.

Encryption and recovery: Sensitive data is encrypted before it is stored. The developer cannot decrypt user data without the user's participation. If a user loses their key, data can be recovered only through a process that requires a signed agreement and the user's own authentication, and it is re-encrypted under a new key for that user.

How it's used: Your data is used only to provide the app's features to you. It is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties. The recovery process exists solely to restore access for the account holder.

Bank connections: Financial account connections are provided by Plaid. When you connect an account, Plaid's End User Privacy Policy (plaid.com/legal) applies to the data Plaid processes.

Diagnostics: The apps may collect crash and error logs to fix problems. These contain technical details about the error, not the contents of your data.

Storage and security: Data is stored on servers operated by the developer and encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Retention and deletion: Your data is kept while your account is active. Accounts are managed by the developer; when an account is closed, its associated data is permanently deleted from active systems. Encrypted backups are retained for 30 days, after which the deleted data is permanently removed from backups as well.
